The screen turns about 35% darker suddenly after about 5 seconds of any dark scene. It's really annoying as it's an abrupt switch and the change back to bright is also very obvious and occurs after a slight delay. I have this TV in my bedroom and usually watch in the dark where it's even more noticable and annoying. <br /> <br />Search google and you will find many examples of people complaining about this. But my family is so serious about television I decided it would be smart to make all our tv service with as much HD as possible and be 100% digital.
