WE ORDERED THIS TV ON WED. NOV. 18. WAS TOLD WE WOULD HAVE IT BY NOV. 27TH. WE

GOT A CALL ON FRIDAY NOV. 2OTH AND RECEIVED TV ON SAT. MORNING AT 10 AM. NOW

THAT IS GREAT SERVICE. WE ARE NOT ELECTRONIC SMART SENIORS BUT HAD NO PROBLEM

SETTING IT UP. ENJOYED WATCHING JIMMY JOHNSON WIN NASCAR TODAY. THANKS AGAIN

It does almost everything we wanted. Just wish it had an optical sound input for the computer rather then the old pin style one.

We had a limited space in our entertainment center and needed a unit chosen more for size than quality, so we are satisfied with the results. We only regret not getting a slightly better Hz rating; would have prefered 240 instead of 120. But the experience with the seller was good. The product arrived fairly fast, it was as advertised, and when we needed to contact them they were very helpful on the phone. Kudos to this seller; we are very happy with the TV. I would not hesitate to do business with them again.

This set was delivered today and is going back unopened tomorrow.

When I was finally able to see the manual, I discovered that something as simple as a headphone jack was not available.

A phone call to LG confirmed that this standard feature is absent on ALL 2009 LG TV sets!

That’s not quite true. In Europe, LG TV sets including this model come with headphone jacks. Why are they sold crippled in the USA?

People are asked to spend years with a set, never able to watch & listen without disturbing others in the household. If LG was cheap enough to omit this feature, I worried whether there might be other quality shortcuts.

Also, the manual strongly encourages screwing the stand to the furniture on which the TV will sit so as to avoid it tipping over forward (they even provide the screw). You get to choose between being unsafe or drilling into your furniture. Gee! But not LG.
